Kevin Williams and Shareen Geers attended IMCAS in Hong Kong from the 10th – 12th July. It was an extremely successful show both for direct sales and recruiting potential new distributors in the Far East. A special thank you to Mr and Mrs Pandit from India for supporting us and taking care of the large volume of doctors from India. The new Fusion 3D and Ilipo Ultra were particularly very well received.

Abstract

The ability of low level lasers to cause photomodulation of individual adipose cells so that they release their contents without damage to the surrounding tissues provided has been successfully and safely used for several years, first as an adjunct treatment to reduce the post treatment swelling and discomfort of liposuction procedures and more recently on their own as a non-invasive body reshaping treatment option.

The purpose of this study was to report the ability of the I-lipo laser diode system to be used as a fat reduction and body reshaping system, offering patients immediate and long term changes to specific problem fatty areas. Single treatment observations on circumference measurement changes of the abdomen were reported for 20 patients and a single case study was presented of a female patient middle-abdominal region during a course of eight treatment sessions over four weeks. Interim results from pilot study using real-time ultrasound to make direct observations and measurements of the subcutaneous adipose layer were also presented.

Observations and measurements confirm the I-lipo laser diode device as an effective, safe and pain free option for immediate and long-term body reshaping.

Chromogenex announce the arrival of their most exciting facial treatment concept for 2009. Whilst other devices offer a part of the required skin rejuvenation for a client, the Fusion 3D offers a complete skin rejuvenation facelift in one package incorporating diamond exfoliation, ultrasound and laser.

The fundamental recipe to rejuvenation success is to Prepare, Repair and Maintain. Fusion 3D offers a solution to each of these key stages in a single contemporary design to provide exfoliation, active ingredient delivery direct to the cells of the dermis and finally multi-wavelength laser stimulation to enhance circulation, boost collagen production and tighten the skin to support the visible epidermis above.

Treatments are completed in 1 hour with the average client benefiting
from 3-5 sessions, performed once every 7-10 days. After their course, continued use of the Dermagenex products will enhance and protect the treatment results and occasional maintenance treatments with the Fusion 3D will sustain the clients new appearance.

Stage 1: Skin Resurfacing
Prepares the skin by exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and enhance blood flow to draw the necessary oxygen and nutrients to all levels of the skin. This preparation accelerates skin cell turnover leaving the surface smoother with a fresher, more youthful appearance.

Stage 2: Skin Replenishment with Topical Infusion
Use of low intensity ultrasound to gently vibrate the skin cells to provide temporary reorganisation which creates channels or pores in the skin through which our active ingredients can penetrate. Many topical products simply fail to make it through the epidermis, the skin after all is designed to be a barrier to keep things out, so that active ingredients sit uselessly on the surface until rubbed off never reaching the cells that require them. The Fusion 3D Lift Sonoporation probe in conjunction with our Dermagenex serums allows enhanced penetration and absorption into the cells for these important nutrients to repair and restore the skin.

Stage 3: Skin Tightening
Multi-wavelength laser including infra-red delivers heat to the lower dermis area which stimulates natural cellular activity to repair damaged tissue and promote production of natural skin components such as collagen and elastin for longer term wrinkle reduction, lifting and tightening effects.
